“Seeking Magic” is my most ambitious album, and I can’t wait to hear what you think of it! The sound is mallets + chamber orchestra, and the music is about reembracing hope in dark times.

In creating the album, I unintentionally brought together all of the styles that I’ve adventured with through the years! Jazz + lush but minimalist winds like my old album “Half Moon”, playfulness and percussiveness like in “Lalo’s Urban Myth”, intensity like in my album “Lalo”… all combined with the influence of years of recording on film and licensing music as well as my production chops from working on commercial music and “Freckleland” tunes! Releasing this music is a gift for me.
